CGLA is the state of Tennessee’s first all-girls public charter school and serves grades 6-12. With a cross-curricular focus on science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics, CGLA offers a rigorous college preparatory education, a small student to teacher ratio and a nurturing environment to support leadership development and academic achievement. CGLA partners with cultural, academic, and corporate organizations across the region to provide students with unique experiences that take learning beyond classroom boundaries. CGLA also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including an athletics program (basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, and soccer), Student Ambassador program, a People Helping People Club, a Hip-Hop Club, an Art Club, Lego Robotics team, Mustang Leadership Partners, Poetry Out Loud, Young Southern Writers, Act-So Club, quarterly honors recognition, and more!
