Also please remind your students that CGLA teachers are available to assist them. Students can contact teachers through text, email, and the virtual learning platform. We will continually post updates as necessary.

  • Effective immediately, CGLA will be closed through APRIL 27.

Lastly and most importantly, thank you again and again. We appreciate the privilege of educating your daughters. With you, we will continue to develop the exciting potential of every student.

Hamilton County Food Program

Hamilton County Schools and the YMCA are coordinating efforts, along with school administration to assure all children have multiple meals each day.   Below you will find school sites and other locations providing breakfast and lunch for all Hamilton County students. The students must be present to pick up the meal and anyone up to age 18, will be served, with no questions.  The meals will be provided by pick-up at all of the listed locations.  As you will note, the times for distribution are listed for each location.

Message from our Doctor

As you may know, Saundra Williams, MD is our CGLA in-house physician who oversees the CGLA health clinic. She suggests the CGLA community review the information below, which is provided by Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Preventive Measures to Reduce the Spread of Disease:

  • Wash your hands using warm water and soap is a highly effective practice to reduce the spread of disease. If warm water and soap are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Cover your mouth when coughing and sneezing. Coughing or sneezing into your bent elbow will reduce the spread of disease, especially the spread of contagious, communicable germs such viruses and bacteria.
  • Always dispose of used tissues.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth because hands spread germs.
  • Avoid close contact with family members or friends who are exhibiting symptoms or who have been diagnosed with the flu, strep throat or other contagious illnesses.
  • Do not share food, drinks, or eating utensils.

Drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest.
