Parent Teacher Organization

CGLA PTO

CGLA established the first PTO during the 2015-2016 academic year. The primary objective of the organization is to provide the school with programs, resources, and fundraising ideas that will enrich and maximize the education of every student and benefit the school as a whole.

The CGLA PTO helps to plan, coordinate, and/or support the following annual events:

  • Scholastic Book Fair
  • CGLA Neighborhood Carnival
  • World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser
  • Teacher Appreciation Activities
  • Bake Sales
  • Athletic Concessions Assitance
  • Field Day
  • Awards Day

As a reminder, parents and guardians are required to complete 15 volunteer hours each academic year. Participation in the PTO is a great way to fulfill this commitment. The PTO charges dues in the amount of $5 per academic year. All that join will automatically receive one volunteer hour!
