Registration Event July 29

Returning Student Registration

Beginning May 10th thru June 7th, for the 2019 - 2020 school year.  Current CGLA students can easily register, review and make updates to student information.

If your child attended a Hamilton County school in 2018 - 2019 and will be attending CGLA for the 2019 - 2020 school year, your child will enroll as a Returning Student.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

To register visit: Parent Portal to enroll your child for the 2019 – 2020 school year.  From the Parent Portal: (If you have never created a student account, you must do so before you register the student)

  1. Select the student you wish to re-register along the top

  2. Select the Student Registration Icon on the left side for 2019-2020.

  3. Agree to the terms and conditions

  4. Click Begin Forms

WHAT DO I NEED TO ENROLL MY CHILD?

Returning students will need to provide two proofs residency:
Residency documents 

  • Lease, Mortgage or Deed and one of the below items:
    • Utility bills  (gas, water, electric) within the last 30-60 days
    • Insurance (home, health, life)
    • Government documents

Shared Residence Documents

  • Homeowner or lease holder will provide two proofs of the above residency documents
  • Parent/guardian will need to provide:
    • One document showing you no longer live at the previous address.
      Examples of a document may be:
      •  Termination of a lease
      •  Final electric, water or gas bill
      •  Change of address from the Post Office.
  • Two different pieces of mail (no junk mail), that has your name with the address of the homeowner/lease holder within the last 30 – 60 days.
    Examples of a document may be:

    •  DHS
    •  Government papers
    •  Insurance
    •  Bank statement
    •  Employment
  • Confirm if your child requires bus transportation at the time of registration. 

CGLA is providing registration support for current students returning for the 2019 - 2020 school year. This will offer help to those who do not have internet access:

May 13th - May 24th
Mondays - Thursdays @ 8:30 - 9:30am & 3:30 - 4:30pm

June 3rd & June 4th
Monday and Tuesday @ 10am - 2pm


New Student Registration

If your child did not attend a Hamilton County school in 2018 - 2019, your registration process will begin at a later date. CGLA will notify you once the new student portal is ready! 

Registration Event July 29

Registration Day is a MANDATORY event. Once you have selected one of the three meeting times to attend, be sure to arrive on time as we will begin promptly. If you arrive after the start time, you will need to choose another meeting time to attend.

We believe parents make a difference in our school success and look forward to seeing you on our first day together at registration. For your convenience and to save you some time, you may complete your registration paperwork online prior to July 29th. We are available at school this summer to assist with the process. Please call the front office for a time to come in if you require assistance.

A few reminders/expectations:

  • Times to choose from - 8:30 am, 11:30 am, 4:30 pm (you must choose one)
  • Food and beverages will be provided
  • Students will take ID photo
  • Students must attend with parents/guardians
  • Pay your $20.00 technology fee
  • Hear from school administration
  • Translators available
