YWLAF (Young Women’s Leadership Academy Foundation) is a 501c3 non-profit charity created to fill the funding gap for CGLA.  As a public charter school, CGLA receives public education funding like all other public schools.  Those funds, however, do not fully cover the cost of offering a quality educational experience for our girls.  What makes CGLA a “charter” school is the commitment, both financial and volunteer, from our local community.

Because of donations to YWLAF, CGLA students are headed to college.

In order to pay for the STEAM curriculum (science, technology, engineering, arts and math), additional teaching hours, technology, proven leaders and college prep, YWLAF raises funds by asking donors to become a part of our dream for Chattanooga.
