  • All interns must complete a background check prior to reporting for duty. CGLA will be responsible for the fee associated for this.

Available Opportunities

Information Technology

Description: Because we are a small school, our IT team serves in various capacities. As a member of our IT team, you can expect to help troubleshoot issues with user devices (PC, Mac, Chromebook), set up & maintain a reliable network, modify & maintain custom database programs, repair/update various devices and machines, and more.

Hours: We are looking for someone to work a minimum of 10 hours each week.

Duration: August 1 - December 31; August 1 - May 30 

 

Marketing & Graphic Design

Description: We pride ourselves on providing the public with good content to consume. It is important for the school to be branded and carry out a consistent message. For this internship, we're looking for someone that can create print and digital material, carry out our social media strategy, help to think of new ways to reach targeted audiences, create blog posts that tell the story of our school and its students, and help maintain a current website.

We are looking for someone with experience in using adobe creative suite, knowledge of the various social media platforms, ability to produce great written content, and an innovative thinker.

Hours: We are searching for a Marketing & Graphic Design intern that can work a minimum of 10 hours each week.

Duration: August 1 - December 31; August 1 - May 30

 

Robotics

Description: There are three competitive robotics teams here at CGLA. Our students and their faculty advisors possess varying levels of knowledge when it comes to building and programming a robot. We're looking for an intern with experience in engineering (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and coding that can use their skills and abilities to help take our teams to the next level!

Hours: After school (3 pm and beyond) to include some weekends depending on the competition schedule. Specific hours will be based on the coach's need and the complexity of the builds.
