Campaigns

If you are looking to support a particular cause at CGLA, please review the campaigns listed below as they provide information concerning our various areas of need. 

When using our online donation portal, you may select the campaign you wish to support. Beside each fund below, there is a note documenting whether the fund is restricted or unrestricted. Restricted funds may only be used for the specified purpose of the campaign. Unrestricted funds may be used for any purposes. All donations are tax deductible.

Annual Impact Fund - Unrestricted

These donations are flexible and immediately accessible, allowing CGLA to quickly implement a newly discovered educational program or promptly address an unanticipated student or facility emergency. 

Your donation is an investment in unrestricted thinking and unrestricted possibilities, an investment in a promising future for every one of our present and future students.

Odyssey Awards Luncheon - Unrestricted 

The 2024 Odyssey Awards Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Each year, CGLA presents the Odyssey Awards Luncheon to recognize exemplary CGLA students and celebrate CGLA’s distinctive accomplishments. Now in its 13th academic year, CGLA has made tremendous progress as the school continues to excel in academic standards.

Annual Golf Tournament - Unrestricted

Our 12th Annual Golf Tournament will be held on June 6, 2024 at Creeks Bend Golf Course. All proceeds benefit CGLA students.

Backpack for Success - Restricted

Dr. Liz Thomas designed The Backpack for Success fund to assist with specific needs of students that when fulfilled would give them a toolkit for success. Hutton, a local property management company, was crucial in implementing the fund in 2016. 

The fund provides for specific student needs including: food supplies, clothing, transportation to and from mentoring services, and at-home internet. 

Athletics - Restricted

CGLA is proud of our winning Lacrosse Team, our volleyball, basketball and softball teams. 

This fund specifically supports CGLA Athletics. A donation to the Athletics Campaign will assist with uniform, equipment, transportation to and from events, and staffing requirement costs. If you would like to specify a sport or team to receive your donation, contact

Scholarships - Restricted

Scholarship funds are utilized for CGLA students' college needs, like: application fees, multiple ACT testing requests, college-prep courses, college touring, text books, and future dorm needs. 

If investing in the future college needs of our graduating seniors is a primary and personal interest, these opportunities may be an area of donation that you would like to consider.
