    CGLA Mustangs Are Out Of The Gate Early

    Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy kicked-off the 2016-2017, school year Friday.     Breaking ground on the new gym

    Friday, May 13th was anything but unlucky for the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy when students, faculty and staff joined the HUTTON Company in breaking ground on the school’s newest renovation project. Thanks to the generosity of CEO Karen J. Hutton and architect Rice Williams of Artech design firm, CGLA’s outdated athletic facility will get a major remodel to bring it into code compliance.   Read More >

    Congratulations Class of 2016

    On July 27, 2009, 75 girls made statewide history when they entered the doors of Tennessee’s first single-gender, public charter school – Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy. Fifty of those girls were sixth-graders.  On Friday, May 13, 2016, some of those same young ladies made history again when they crossed the stage to receive their high school diplomas. Of the 21 members of the Class of 2016, eight inaugural students have been enrolled at CGLA since the school first opened.   Read More >
